How do I remove creases or puckering from my roller blind fabric?

Slight creases or indents in a new roller blind are normal and usually settle within the first few months. Keeping the blind rolled down as much as possible helps the fabric stretch and smooth out.

Roller blind fabric is rolled tight for shipping, so light creasing on arrival is expected. It relaxes as the fabric hangs.

What to do

  • Leave the blind fully rolled down for long stretches in the first few weeks so the fabric settles under its own weight.
  • Avoid ironing or steaming the fabric, as heat can mark or warp it.

Note: If creases are still obvious after several weeks, email info@curtainandblindco.com.au with a photo. If it turns out to be a fabric fault rather than settling, we will look at a replacement or refund.
