How do I reattach a roller blind that has slipped out of the base rail?

Roll the blind fully down first, then line the fabric edge up with the channel in the base rail and press it firmly back in. If it keeps slipping out, check the rail and the fabric edge for damage.

  1. 1

    Lower the blind fully

Roll the blind all the way down so the fabric is flat and you can reach the base rail easily.

  2. 2

    Line up the fabric

Align the bottom edge of the fabric with the open channel along the top of the base rail.

  3. 3

    Press it back in

Push the fabric edge firmly into the channel along the whole width until it sits flush and holds.

  4. 4

    Check if it won't hold

If the fabric pops out again, look for a bent rail or a frayed fabric edge. Send us a photo or short video and we will sort the next step.

The base rail is the weighted bar along the bottom of the blind. The fabric edge feeds into a channel that runs the length of it.
