Sunscreens? We got them

Sunscreen roller blinds are designed to let the light in — just not the harsh bits. They keep rooms feeling bright and open while helping reduce glare and block damaging UV rays. The result? A space that feels connected to the outdoors, without the squint factor.

with

Keep the view, lose the glare

Open-weave sunscreen fabric maintains partial visibility to the outside — your room stays connected to the outdoors.

without

No views

Blockout and light-filtering fabrics obstruct outward views entirely or significantly.

with

Maximum UV Protection

Blocks up to 99% of UV rays, protecting your skin, furniture and flooring while keeping the room bright.

without

Unfiltered UV Exposure

Unprotected windows let UV rays pass through freely — fading furnishings and increasing heat load.

with

Cooler Rooms, Lower Bills

Sunscreen fabric significantly reduces heat transfer, taking pressure off your air conditioning in summer.

without

Heat build-up

Direct sunlight through bare glass raises indoor temperatures quickly, increasing cooling costs.

with

See out, not in

During daylight hours, sunscreen fabric allows you to see out while limiting visibility from outside in.

without

Fully Exposed or Fully Blocked

Standard glass offers no privacy; blockout fabric offers privacy but no light or views.

Day & night flexibility

Add a sunscreen on the same bracket for filtered daytime light and complete privacy at night — two blinds, one solution.

No flexibility

A single roller blind can't adapt between daytime ambience and night-time privacy.

Your View, Your Way

Sunscreen roller blinds are built for people who don't want to choose between light and privacy — or between comfort and a view. The open-weave fabric reduces glare and heat while keeping the room bright and the outlook intact. A smart, understated solution for living rooms, kitchens and anywhere the outside view is worth keeping.

Beat the Heat Without Losing the Light

Australia's sun is relentless — but that doesn't mean you have to choose between a bright room and a cool one. Sunscreen roller blinds block up to 85% of heat transfer through the window, reducing the load on your air conditioning and keeping your home more comfortable year-round. All while keeping the room naturally lit.

The Smart Starting Point for a Double Roller

Sunscreen blinds are brilliant on their own — but they really shine when paired with a blockout blind in a double roller setup. Use the sunscreen during the day for filtered light, views and UV protection, then drop the blockout at night for complete privacy and darkness. Our double rollers always pair a sunscreen with a blockout on a single bracket.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a sunscreen roller blind actually do?

Sunscreen blinds use an open-weave fabric that reduces glare and heat transfer while still allowing partial outside views and daytime privacy. They let natural light into the room while blocking up to 99% of UV rays and keeping up to 85% of heat out — making them ideal for living areas, kitchens and home offices where you want a bright, comfortable space without the harshness of direct sun. Unlike blockout blinds, sunscreen fabric doesn't provide night-time privacy once your interior lights are on.

Can I see outside through a sunscreen blind?

Yes — that's one of the key benefits. The open weave construction allows partial views to the outside during the day, making sunscreen blinds a popular choice for rooms where you want to maintain a connection to the outdoors. Visibility varies depending on the specific fabric and light conditions — ordering a sample is the best way to check how much view and privacy a particular fabric offers in your space.

What's the difference between sunscreen and light-filtering roller blinds?

Sunscreen fabrics tend to allow more natural light in, creating a brighter, airier feel, and they preserve partial outside views. Light-filtering fabrics diffuse light more significantly, obscuring visibility in both directions while still brightening the room with softened natural light. Sunscreen is the better choice where views and brightness are the priority; light-filtering is better where you want softer, more diffused light and greater daytime privacy.

How do I measure for roller blinds?

You measure the width and drop of your window recess (for inside mount) or the area you wish to cover (for face-fix). Our helpful roller blinds measuring guide walks you through both options step-by-step.

Are roller blinds easy to install?

Yes, very. You just need to screw (or drill) a couple of mounting brackets to the window frame or surrounding wall, clip in the blind, secure the chain and you're done! We recommend heading to our Measure & Install page to watch our 'How to install roller blinds' video to see just how simple it is.

Can you deliver to storage lockers and PO boxes?

We can deliver sample orders to storage lockers and PO boxes but we cannot deliver product orders to them. We will need a physical address (residential or commercial) to be supplied with any product order. Unfortunately, failure to do so can often result in missed deliveries and extended wait times for re-delivery to be completed.

My delivery has arrived damaged, what do I do?

On the rare occasion this happens, we're here to help! If you spot notable damage to your boxes after delivery, please take a photo of the affected area(s), then open the boxes and check for any damage to the goods inside. If everything seems okay, proceed as planned. If you find any damage to the included goods, please take a photo of the affected area(s) and share them with us so we can provide an appropriate solution.

What is your returns policy?

As all our products are custom made-to-measure, we do not accept returns. However, in the rare event something with your order doesn't meet your expectations, we will always work with you to make it right. Please visit our 'Terms & Conditions' page to review our returns and warranty information in full.
