How do I control motorised blinds?

You’ve got options. Use a remote, control them via app, or connect to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Samsung SmartThings. You can also set schedules so they open and close automatically throughout the day.

How often do I need to charge the battery?

Our motorised blinds are wireless and USB-C rechargeable. On an average-sized blind, the battery typically lasts between 3–6 months per charge — so you’re not constantly climbing ladders.

What type of motors do you offer?

At Curtain & Blind Co., we offer a carefully selected range of Motionblinds and Rollease Acmeda Automate motors — each designed to suit different homes and tech setups. Eve Motionblinds Motors: Controlled via the EVE app and conveniently rechargeable with USB-C. A clean, simple option for Apple users. Motionblinds Bluetooth Motors: Fully rechargeable and operated within Bluetooth range using the Motionblinds app — straightforward and reliable. Automate Wireless Motors: Controlled by a programmable remote, or connect to your smart home using the Automate Pulse hub. Compatible with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung

Are motorised blinds hard to install?

Not at all. They install just like our standard roller blinds — same brackets, same fit — with one extra step to connect the motor. No hardwiring, no electrician, just a simple setup and you’re done.

Do motorised blinds need to be measured differently?

No — the measuring process is exactly the same as our standard roller blinds. Same width, same drop, same recess or face fit options. The motor sits neatly inside the tube, so there’s no need to adjust your measurements.

What is your returns policy?

As all our products are custom made-to-measure, we do not accept returns. However, in the rare event something with your order doesn't meet your expectations, we will always work with you to make it right. Please visit our 'Terms & Conditions' page to review our returns and warranty information in full.

What do you charge for delivery?

For orders of over $199 value, we offer free delivery to major Australian metro locations. This excludes shutter orders, which cannot be shipped for free due to the parcel sizes and weights involved. Delivery costs for shutter orders are calculated at checkout before payment is required. For orders of less than $199 value or for orders being shipped to outer metro and regional areas (outside of the Northern Territory and Tasmania), we charge a modest $50 flat fee. Orders dispatched to the Northern Territory and Tasmania carry a standard flat fee of $150. We want to be as transparent as possible with our shipping costs, so please review our ‘Delivery & Returns’ page (via the link in the website footer) before ordering.
