Should I choose corded or cordless venetian blinds?

It comes down to window size and how you want to operate the blind. Corded venetians can usually be made wider than cordless versions, so for a large window corded may be your only option.

A quick way to choose:

  • Cordless gives a cleaner look and removes the dangling cord, which is safer around young children.
  • Corded suits wider windows that fall outside the cordless size limit.

Tip: Check the maximum width for each operation type against your window measurement before you order, so you do not pick a style your window is too wide for.
