I got face-fix brackets but wanted top-fix. Can I convert them?

In most cases you don't need a reship. The top-fix clips detach from the steel L-bracket you've received, so you can remove them and use them for a top (ceiling) fix straight away.

    Remove the clips

    Detach the top-fix clips from the supplied steel L-bracket.

  2. 2

    Mount the clips

    Fix the clips directly into the ceiling or window head for a top fix.

  3. 3

    Keep the brackets

    Set the L-brackets aside in case you later want a face (wall) fix.

    If parts don't match or are missing, send a photo and we'll arrange a fix or replacement.

The fittings we supply for sheers are designed to do both jobs from the same hardware.

Converting face-fix to top-fix

  • Take the top-fix clips off the steel L-bracket.
  • Use those clips on their own to fix into the ceiling or window head.
  • Keep the L-brackets aside in case you switch back to a face (wall) fix later.
