Should I choose corded or cordless for my blinds?

It's your choice at order time. If you go corded, you also tell us which side you want the cord (left or right). Cordless is the safer pick around young children, since there's no chain to reach.

Most of our blinds come in both a corded (chain-operated) and a cordless option, and you select one when you customise your order.

How to decide

  • Cordless is the child-safe choice: no hanging chain, and you lift or push the blind by hand or with a wand.
  • Corded gives easy control on tall or heavy blinds, but you must choose the cord side (left or right) so the chain falls where you want it.

Note: Australian child-safety rules require chains to be secured with a tensioner or cleat. If little ones use the room, cordless removes that worry entirely.
