MeasuringCan I switch my blind from recess fit to face fit?
Yes. The brackets we supply generally work for either a recess or a face fit, so you can change how you mount it. If you're unsure how it affects your measurements, email info@curtainandblindco.com.au and we'll clarify before you order.
A recess fit means the blind sits inside the window opening, while a face fit means it mounts on the wall or architrave in front of the opening.

If your order hasn't gone into production yet and you'd like to switch, get in touch. And if you're unsure how the change affects your measurements, contact us first and we'll clarify before you order.
Tip: For a face fit, most people add a little overlap each side and above the opening so the blind covers the gaps a recess fit would leave.
