How do I put a wand runner back into my curtain track?

You can reinsert a wand runner yourself with a Phillips head screwdriver: remove the end cap, slide the wand runner in between the first and second runner on the string, then refit the end cap. It takes a couple of minutes.

  1. 1

    Remove the end cap

Use a Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the end cap, then slide out the first runner on the string of runners.

  2. 2

    Slide the wand runner in

Feed the wand runner into the track so it sits between the first and second runner on the string, in the same order as the rest.

  3. 3

    Refit the end cap

Slide the first runner back in, then re-screw the end cap so the runners cannot slide off the end again.

  4. 4

    If it keeps coming free

If the wand runner keeps popping out after refitting, the track itself may be at fault. Contact our team and we can arrange a replacement track piece.

The wand runner is the runner the control wand clips to, and it can slip out the end of the track if the end cap works loose. Here is how to seat it again.
