Frequently Asked Questions

What colours are available in Avena?

Avena offers six beautifully coordinated colourways inspired by natural elements, from pristine whites and soft neutrals to sophisticated greys and accent tones. Each shade is carefully selected to complement Australian interior styles whilst providing excellent light management.

What are the fabric composition and properties of Avena?

Avena is crafted from premium quality polyester fibres designed for durability and performance. The fabric features excellent shape retention, UV resistance, and easy care properties whilst delivering superior light filtration and elegant drape for contemporary Australian homes.

How much light do Avena blockout curtain filter?

Avena provides optimal light control blocking out 100% of sunshine.

Which rooms are best suited for Avena blockout curtains?

Avena Blockout Curtains are perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, and home offices where you desire refined elegance with practical light control.

How do I measure for Avena blockout curtains?

Measure the full width you want your track to run. The track usually sits 150mm to 300mm past the window frame on each side, so the curtains stack clear of the glass when open. For the drop, measure from the top of the track, or the ceiling if you're top fixing, down to the floor. Enter both exactly as measured, with nothing added or deducted; we allow for the finished fit when we make your Avena curtains. If you're unsure, our team is happy to help.

What care is required for Avena blockout curtains?

Avena blockout curtains are designed for easy maintenance with regular gentle vacuuming using a soft brush attachment. The quality polyester construction maintains its appearance with minimal care. For comprehensive cleaning, professional dry clean only to ensure longevity.

How can I style Avena blockout curtains in my home?

Avena blockout curtains complement diverse interior styles from coastal to contemporary. Pair with natural timber, textured fabrics, or metallic accents for visual interest. Use on their own for minimalist appeal or layer with heavier curtains for sophisticated functionality.
