Buy Australian-made sheer curtains online

With a variety of headings available, the sumptuous falls of our high-quality S-fold or pleated sheer curtains can add drama and glamour to any area of your home. Offering an air of relaxed luxury, whisper-soft sheers provide privacy without cutting you off from the outside world.

Highly adaptable, these drapes look striking alone but can also be used to introduce a layer of elegance to more practical blockout curtains.

All of our sheer curtains are fully customisable, so you can choose the exact size, stacking (how they open) and draw type you want in just a few clicks. We also offer a stunning range of colours that complement both modern and traditional decors.

With the Curtain & Blind Co, you’ll find window dressings that accent the overall decorative scheme of your space without having to scour every soft furnishings shop on the high street! And our sheers are designed to hook on to most standard tracks, although, if you are interested in S-fold curtains, we recommend only using our supplied designer tracks which come in an array of complementary hues.

Deceptively delicate-looking, our selection of sheer curtains online are made from high-quality polyester or linen-blended fabrics that are hardwearing and long-lasting. If you’d like to test out the fabric for yourself before ordering, grab some samples from the site and we’ll send them to you in no time at all.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much will my curtains bunch?

Bunching is an often overlooked but hugely important consideration when looking at curtaining your windows. A general rule of thumb is the bunching will be 30% of the width of your track. For example, if you have a 1000mm track, a left or right stack would have a width of 300mm on one side and a centre opening stack would have a width of 150mm on each side.

Where are your curtains made?

All our curtains are manufactured locally in our Western Australian factory. Our family have been making them here since 1974. The factory is operated by some of the most experienced and talented curtain makers in Australia.

What is 'coated' curtain fabric?

Coated curtain fabrics have an extra layer of blockout material "fused" to the back of the curtain fabric providing a comprehensive blockout solution. These fabrics are especially suited for bedroom windows to provide complete night time light blockout.

What is 'uncoated' curtain fabric?

Uncoated fabric means the fabric is a single layer of woven material and will not fully block out light. However, if an uncoated fabric is preferred for your home, we also offer a free blockout lining upgrade for a selection of our uncoated curtain fabrics.

What curtain heading styles are available?

We offer everything from traditional pencil pleat to triple pleat and on-trend S-fold (wave) pleats for the majority of our curtains. To find out which heading styles your preferred curtain fabric can be supplied in, head to any of the curtain product pages and they will be listed in the specifications and 'Customise & Order' area.

Can I pair a sheer curtain with a blockout curtain?

Yes, most definitely! We have a selection of recommended double curtains in our dedicated Double Curtains area. All the relevant options for suitable tracking, brackets and more will be presented when you progress through the ‘Customise & Order’ stage of your purchase. Or get in touch for expert advice on choosing and installing your preferred combination for double curtains.

When should I select butting curtains?

We recommend butting curtains when you want the ability to open and close each curtain independently. This is practical for scenarios where one side may need to be opened for light or access while the other remains closed for privacy or shading.

Do you ship curtains and blinds separately?

Yes, we do. Our curtains and blinds are often manufactured at different factories with their own completion schedules and as we always ship our products as soon as they are ready, you’ll likely receive two separate order deliveries, even if you ordered your curtains and blinds together. You will also receive dedicated tracking information for each consignment. If you only receive one part of your order, don’t worry, the other will be close behind. As always, feel free to contact us if you’d like an update on your order delivery status.
