Available now, Motionblinds innovative motorisation solution provides all the privacy, comfort and convenience you could ask for via smartphone app, a smart hub such as Google Home or Apple HomeKit, Bluetooth or a simple pull of the smart chain!
How does Motionblinds motorisation work?
Smart home control with the Eve app and Thread
You can set schedules and automations locally using the Eve smartphone app or from anywhere utilising Thread. Thread is a mesh network technology that makes your smart home more responsive, robust, and increases its reach.
Compatibility with smart home platforms
Motionblinds motorisation works with Apple HomeKit (via HomePod or an Apple TV) thanks to its support for Thread. Motionblinds can also work with other smart home platforms including Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings via Matter, the new smart home standard.
Easy automation and synchronisation
It's really easy to automate your blind's functionality, with scheduled opening / closing and positions all pre-set to suit your daily routine. And you can sync to other smart home devices to manage a whole host of connected devices at once!
Simple installation and low maintenance
With a rechargeable battery tucked away inside the blind roller tube, installation is as quick and easy as with any of our DIY roller blinds. And recharging is a cinch using the provided USB-C cable, although with typical use, only a handful of charges should be required each year (this may differ based on blind size).
Integrated motors
When ordered, Motionblinds motors come pre-installed in your roller blind, making them ready to go via seamless integration into an existing smart home set up.

All operation schedules are stored in the motor, so your blinds can also get on with their job independently of any home hub, smart device or internet connection. And you can rest easy knowing your data is kept 100% private, thanks to local communication.
Scenes
Combine multiple smart home-enabled accessories in a single scene and save yourself a heap of hassle. For instance, a "Good Night" scene can close your blinds and switch off all the lights in your home with a single command.
Ordering is super simple!
1. Measure the space as you would for any roller blind (pro tip, make sure you use our measuring guide)
2. Select your preferred blinds from our motorised range
3. Select the Motionblind motorisation option while finalising your order
4. We’ll fit and charge the motor while we make your roller blind, so it will be ready to go once installation is completed!
