How to adjust a Breakaway Tassel

To adjust cord lengths on your blind, please refer to steps 1 – 4 below.

In the event of the safety ‘Breakaway Tassel’ coming apart, please refer to step 4 to remedy the issue.

Step 1 – After determining desired height of breakaway tassel, open breakaway tassel.

Step 2 – Raise the breakaway tassel to the desired height and re-tie the knots for each pull cord end. Please ensure the pull cord lengths are even before proceeding.

Step 3 – Cut away the excess pull cord length (beneath the knots) using sharp scissors.

Step 4 – Place the pull cords into the grooves and snap the breakaway tassel casing together to re-secure.
