References to “we”, “us” or “our” are references to The Curtain and Blind Company, 67 Pavers Circle, Malaga 6090, ABN 96 161 931 773, trading as www.curtainandblindco.com.au and its subsidiaries, associates and officers, unless otherwise stated.

By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and by any other documents, policies and conditions referred to within them. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not continue to access or use the Website. If you can’t find additional information you’re looking for, please get in touch with us.

Personal information

The Curtain and Blind Company will not divulge any of your personal information; all information is used solely for the purpose of completing your order.

Return policy

In the event there is a warranty issue or fault with your product, The Curtain and Blind Company will organise the return of the damaged or faulty product, and you will incur no further costs (within the warranty period for the product). This excludes products that have been incorrectly measured, products ordered in the incorrect colour or if you have simply changed your mind.


The Curtain and Blind Company offers a full two-year manufacturer’s warranty on all products. The warranty covers faults that may arise during normal use of the product. In the event that a warranty claim needs to be made, contact us either by phone or email. In most cases, photo or video evidence of the faulty goods will be required. The Curtain and Blind Company consultant will explain how to obtain a repair or replacement product.

Incorrect sizing

It is of the utmost importance that you follow the measurement instructions outlined by The Curtain and Blind Company. However, if you receive a product that is not the right size, please contact us immediately. If we discover we have made an error, we will replace the incorrect product at no extra charge.


Products will be made to the specifications set out by the customer. The Curtain and Blind Company will not take responsibility for incorrect product purchases due to incorrect measurements supplied by the customer. If you are unsure of your measurements or mounting style, we recommend you contact us and speak to a consultant before ordering. Based on correct measurements, The Curtain and Blind Company will make necessary, standardised adjustments to your chosen product to ensure it fits perfectly. All measurements stated on this website are in millimetres and all measurements required by The Curtain and Blind Company are to be supplied in millimetres. Please ensure that all measurements are made with a metal tape measure which displays metric measurements. Do not take measurements in imperial units and then convert them.

Changing or cancelling an order

Production usually begins the next business day after an order has been placed. Therefore, changes to an order or cancellations can only normally be made if The Curtain and Blind Company is contacted within 24-hours of the order being placed.

Confirmation of an order

On completion of an order, you will immediately receive a confirmation email/tax invoice. This is your proof of purchase and should be kept for your records. In the unlikely event of a warranty claim, you will require your original tax invoice. If you do not receive an email correspondence from The Curtain and Blind Company after confirming an order, please call us immediately to confirm that we have received your order and all your details are correct.

Tracking your order

Once your blinds or curtains have been made and are ready to deliver, The Curtain and Blind Company will send you an email containing your order tracking number and the courier details. With this information, you can track your completed order from collection to delivery.

Product delivery

The Curtain and Blind Company will only deliver your products to the address stated on your order. This is the contact delivery address and cannot be changed. Depending on the size of your delivery and your location, we will arrange delivery which may include, road, rail or air transport. All deliveries are door-to-door.

If you are unavailable, your order will likely be left in a safe place at your home – if not, a contact card will be left explaining how to arrange another drop off or where to collect your delivery.

If a delivery is delayed due to circumstances outside of The Curtain and Blind Company’s control, we will do our best to keep you informed of the situation.

If your address is hard to find, or you live in a remote area, please include as much detailed information as you can in the special instructions section. This will help reduce any possible delays.

We cannot arrange for you to be contacted by phone or email prior to delivery.

If an uncollected delivery is returned to The Curtain and Blind Company, we will not pay additional delivery costs. We will contact you to arrange payment for re-delivery.

Damaged products

Please be sure to inspect your products as soon as you receive them and contact us immediately if there is any evidence of damage. We can arrange repairs or replacements for you at no charge. In most cases, photo or video evidence of the damage will be required.

Hardware sets

All required brackets and fasteners are supplied with products purchased through The Curtain and Blind Company. However, as buildings and wall surfaces vary considerably, you may need to obtain additional screws or wall plugs to complete your installation.

Product care and cleaning

The care and cleaning instructions for your products are included on the product itself or in the installation instructions provided with the order. We recommend that you dust your products regularly. Product care and cleaning instructions are also shown in the FAQ section of our website. Please contact us if you have any further questions.


Products pictured on this site are a good indication of the actual product colours. However, there may be slight variations between the screen picture and the fabric. If you are unsure of the colour seen on the site, we strongly suggest you order a sample. We will not refund an item if the incorrect colour has been chosen.

Natural timber

Some of The Curtain and Blind Company products can be made from natural timber, therefore slight warping may occur. There may also be slight differences in colour and grain giving a unique appearance to each blind.

Mistreated curtains, blinds or shutters

Mistreating The Curtain and Blind Company’s products may void your warranty. This includes:

  • Any act which alters the mechanism of the product
  • Re-sizing the product
  • Painting or staining the product
  • Allowing pets or children to damage components
  • Exposing to water
  • Installing products outdoors
  • Cutting cords
  • Incorrect installation

Any warranty claim may be denied if the product has been mistreated. This includes – but is not limited to – damage sustained by any of the means listed above.

Discontinued products

Occasionally products are discontinued. If this happens we will be unable to supply you with these products.


The Curtain and Blind Company accepts payment with either VISA or MasterCard and your credit card will be charged when your order has been processed. The transaction will appear as ‘The Curtain and Blind Company’ on your credit card statement.

We're able to keep the price of our curtains and blinds so low because our customers do their own measuring and installation! However, we're very happy to talk you through the entire process over the phone or by email, and our website offers a wealth of information on how to measure and install too.

Yes, of course! We offer 10 samples for just $5 including free Australia-wide express postage. Your samples also come with a discount code for $10 off your next purchase. Ordering is simple, just head to the Samples page and select individual fabric samples by type, colour or fabric or save some time and choose from our favourites packs.

We offer free delivery to most Australian metro locations on orders of over $199 value. However, we cannot provide free shipping for any shutter orders due to the size and weights involved. For smaller orders and for regional areas, we charge a modest flat fee depending on your location. We want to be as transparent as possible with our shipping costs, so please review our 'Delivery & Returns' page before ordering.

We aim to dispatch all curtain and blind orders within 15 working days and find most will arrive within a 5 working days of the dispatch date. Once your order has been shipped, an automated email with your delivery tracking information will be sent to you.

For shutters orders, please allow between 8-10 weeks for manufacturing, shipping and delivery. Due to some technical limitations, automated tracking emails are not supplied for shutter orders. Please contact us at any time if you would like an update on your order progress.

We will advise of any manufacturing or shipping delays as soon as we are aware of them. We will also happily manage any correspondence with our shipping partners on your behalf should the need arise.

As all our products are custom made-to-measure, we do not accept returns. However, in the rare event something with your order doesn't meet your expectations, we will always work with you to make it right.
