With the festive season fast approaching, we’d hate for anyone to miss out on their new curtains, blinds or shutters. Following is some helpful advice to consider when placing an order during late November or December 2023.
Will you receive your order before Christmas Day?
We’re still making and dispatching most curtain and blind orders in just 12-15 working days, and we’ll keep doing this right up to Christmas Eve. However, any curtain or blind orders placed after Wednesday 22nd November 2023 are unlikely to be delivered before Friday 22nd December 2022. This is due to the significant upsurge in online shopping and resulting parcel deliveries that takes place during December.
With shutters, we’re currently delivering orders in 8-10 weeks, and we’ll keep taking orders right up to Christmas Eve. Shutter orders placed during the pre-Christmas period will be delivered in 2024 after the relevant supply period (also allowing for a week of manufacturing downtime while the shutters team take a short break).

Will we be trading over the festive period?
As an online seller we never really close, but we will be taking a well-earned break from The Curtain and Blind Company HQ on Friday 22nd December 2023 though to Tuesday 2nd January 2024. During this time, we won’t immediately respond to queries or input new orders, but we will be keeping a close eye on all correspondence and will respond on Wednesday 3rd January 2024 or soon after. If an enquiry is deemed urgent, we will get back to you as soon as possible during this period.

We offer a variety of secure payment options on our website including credit card, PayPal, Afterpay and Zip Pay.
Do we send curtain, blind and shutter orders together or separately?
We always ship our products as soon as they are ready, so you’ll receive two (or three) different shipments, even if you ordered curtains and blinds (or shutters) together. If you only receive one, don’t worry, the other won’t be far behind!
You’ve made a mistake; can you change your order?
If you discover you’ve made an error with measuring or product selection, please get in touch with us immediately. We’ll do our best to help resolve the situation, but keep in mind we normally start production on orders within 48-hours (although, this won’t be the case during the festive period).
Can your order be prioritised for pre-Christmas delivery?
Unfortunately, with the urgency to complete and dispatch all orders received in the run up to the festive season it’s not possible (or fair) for us to put one order ahead of another. Rest assured, all orders are completed as quickly as possible, with most being dispatched within 12-15 working days of order payment. Who delivers our orders?
We use carefully chosen and globally trusted third-party freight logistics companies to efficiently deliver our curtains, blinds and shutters straight to your door right across Australia. Once your order is completed, checked and ready for dispatch, you’ll normally receive email notification with tracking information to follow the delivery progress.
Will we share tracking information for your delivery?
In nearly all cases, yes we will. We provide tracking details via email so you can monitor delivery progress from our door to yours. In some cases, your order may not have a tracking number as it will be delivered by a local courier on behalf of our major freight partners, but this typically results in an order arriving even more quickly. If you’d like to know the whereabouts of your order delivery please keep an eye out for an email with your tracking details, or feel free to get in touch with us by email or phone.
How to get a jump on installation…
There’s no reason to wait for your items to arrive to get clued up on assembly and installation, after all ‘prior preparation prevents poor performance’! Visit our installation page to learn about how easy it is to install our curtains, blinds or shutters.
