How to measure for Panel Glide blinds
How do you measure up for Panel Glide blinds?
Correct measuring is the key to easy, hassle-free installation. So, it’s worth taking the time to get it right.
Panel Glide blinds are light and easy to operate. They consist of sleek fabric panels that glide effortlessly across a simple headrail track and are great for easily managing internal light, privacy and temperature.
To measure for Panel Glide blinds, you’ll need a metal tape measure, a pencil, paper, and if required, a sturdy step ladder to get to high places.
Our Panel Glide blinds are always supplied face fitted. So, firstly you’ll need to measure the outside width of the window or door frame in millimetres across the top, middle and bottom and record the largest measurement to proceed with.
Next, measure the outside height of the window or door frame, starting from the point at which you’d like your blind rail to sit above the frame, down to the point where you would like it to finish, or in the case of a door, the floor. Again take three measurements – left, middle and right, and record the largest measurement.
Once you’ve recorded your measurements, head to the relevant product page’s ‘Customise & Order’ area to enter your details and complete your order. Then, after just a few weeks, we’ll send your fabulous new custom-fit Panel Glide blinds to your door.
If you’re in anyway unsure of how to proceed with measuring, please get in touch with our team by phone or email and we’ll be happy to provide specific advice.
