How to measure for panel glide blinds
How do you measure up for panel glide blinds?
Correct measuring is the key to easy, hassle-free installations, so it’s worth taking the time to get it right.
Panel Glide blinds are light and easy to operate, these blinds consist of sleek fabric panels that glide effortlessly across a simple headrail track.
To measure for panel glide blinds you’ll need a metal tape measure, a pencil, paper, and a sturdy step ladder to get to high places.
Panel glide blinds are traditionally a face fitting blind so you’ll need to measure the outside width of the window frame.
Measure across the top, middle and bottom in millimetres and this time record the largest measurement.
Next measure the outside height of the window, starting from the point at which you’d like your blinds to sit above the window, down to the point at which you’d like your blinds to finish.
Again take three measurements. The left, the middle and the right and record the largest measurement.
Once you’ve recorded your measurements head over to the product page, customise your order and we’ll send you beautiful new blinds perfectly fitted for your window.
