This, of course, doesn’t take into account the time poring over the options and viewing your samples in the window before purchasing but once you begin the task you should find it fairly easy.

Your first task is to determine the windows where you’ll be fitting blinds and take accurate measurements.

You’ll have two options for most blinds – face fitting, or recess fitting. Both have their individual purposes – and your choice will differ depending on what you’re trying to achieve.

For example, if you’re looking for a sleek, minimalist look, then a recess blind could be for you. But if you’re looking to achieve maximum blockout of light, then perhaps look at a face fitting blind.

Next, you should determine what kind of blind would best suit your window and the look of your interior.

Once you’ve narrowed down your list of blinds you can order samples.
