How to order your own double roller blind pairing

Our double roller blinds page hosts the most popular double roller combinations we sell. However, if you want to create your own, it's actually quite simple.

Order each blind separately

The first thing to be aware of is you will need to order each blind separately. When doing this, ensure you enter the same room name, dimensions, bracket colour, bottom rail and chain colour for each blind.

With double rollers, the front blockout blind is always forward rolling and the rear sunscreen blind is always backward rolling. This is done to provide optimal performance for day and night use.

Please note, we do not pair blockout and light-filtering fabrics (as they perform similarly), nor do we pair light-filtering and sunscreen fabrics as this combination lacks full blockout screening.

If you feel one of these combinations is what you need, please contact us so we can work through your requirements in full before proceeding further.

Which roller blind products can be paired?

To provide the widest selection of premium roller blind fabrics and styles, we actually use multiple fabric suppliers and two factory locations.

One is our West Australian factory, the very same one where our curtains are made, and the other is our Jakarta factory, where we also make a variety of our other blinds, like Honeycombs and Venetians.

As a result of this process, WA made roller blinds cannot be paired with non-WA made blinds as the double bracket systems differ. So, when ordering a custom combo, you will need to select both blind types according to their manufacturing location. To make this nice and clear, we have tagged each WA made blind with a graphic, as per the example below.

DIY Curtains: Can You Install Sheers Yourself?

Absolutely — and it's easier than most people think. If you can handle a cordless drill, you can install sheer curtains yourself. Modern DIY curtain systems come with everything you need: the track, brackets, screws, hand wands, and clear installation guides.
The key is getting your measurements right before you order. Measure your window width and drop in three places (left, centre, right) and use the smallest measurement. This accounts for any unevenness in your ceiling or window frame and ensures a clean, professional fit.
For S-fold sheers — the most popular heading style for that contemporary, wave-like drape — a designer aluminium track is included, and installation is straightforward whether you're face-fixing to the wall above the window or top-fixing directly to the ceiling for a dramatic floor-to-ceiling look.
