How to easily check your bay window angle
If you're looking to install curtains or blinds into a classic bay window, there is every likelihood the angles between the windows are set at 135 degrees.
However, it is important to be sure this is the case before ordering as any standard adjustments we'll make for butting fits or curve tracks will be based on the assumption your bay window angles are set at 135 degrees.
The easy way to check your angles
There are a few different ways to tackle this, but we think the simplest is using a sheet of A4 paper.
Step 1.
Start with a plain sheet of A4 paper laid flat on a table.
Step 2.
Fold the sheet over from the top left corner to touch the opposite side of the paper. The edges of both layers of the paper should line up.
With the paper folded as shown, you have created a 135 degree open angle.
Step 3.
Place the folded paper sheet inside each corner of your bay windows. If both sides of the paper sit flush against the corners you have 135 degree open angles and we can supply a continuous curtain curve track or help ensure your separate curtains or blinds fit butted up to each other.
With your angles confirmed at 135 degrees, you're now ready to measure!
