In the event of a missing part(s) please contact The Curtain and Blind Company
The number of fixing parts supplied will vary in relation to the size/number of blinds
Please ensure the blind is mounted level (using a spirit level) for correct operation
The following tools/instruments will be required to complete installation safely and accurately:
Phillips head screwdriver
Pencil and tape measure
Spirit level (if possible)
Before commencing installation, determine the correct fitting location for your window. The location should correspond with your order information.
Please note – your finished size for Face Fit Blinds is as per the ordered size. For Recess Fit Blinds, the supplied blind widths will be 10mm less than when ordered to allow the brackets to fit inside the recess.
Step 1 -Installing the Mounting Brackets
Lift each bracket into position and mark where the screws will attach the bracket to the frame. Pre-drill two holes in the marked positions then secure the Control Bracket with the provided screws.
Repeat the process for the Link Bracket.
Please note – wall mounts may be required depending on your wall surface.
Step 2 – Attaching your Blinds
Insert your blockout blind into the highest position on the Link Bracket so the spring pin clips into the upper guide hole (see Fig. 5).
Then, carefully align the chain control side with the Control Bracket. Push the blind into cross section of the control bracket, ensuring the chain is hanging directly down. Hook into place with a gentle downward motion (see Fig.6).
Repeat the above steps for the bottom, reverse roll sunscreen blind.
Step 3 – Installing the Child Safety Devices
Position both Child Safety Devices at the bottom of their chain loop drops and screw into the mounting surface (Face or Recess as relevant), making sure that the looped chains hang with minimal tension.
Please read the Important Safety Information before using your blind.
Please note – horizontal lines may appear on the roller blind fabric due to their packaging. These lines will fade once the blind has been hanging fully extended for 2-3 days.
