Yes, very. A couple of mounting brackets, clip the blind in, bing, bang, boom, you're done. We recommend watching our installation video to see just how simple it is.
The fabrics we use for our blinds are durable so sprucing them up isn't a difficult task. Spot clean by lightly dabbing with a clean cloth, mild detergent and warm water. Avoid scouring pads or chemicals and always leave the blind to air-dry. We also recommend a regular light dusting to avoid dirt build-up.
Roller blinds are suitable for most situations. Their ability to significantly control light makes them a great solution for everything from bedrooms to lounges.
The slats of the blinds are made of the same materials, however Smart Privacy has a number of additional light blocking features. Springwood on the other hand has a larger number of colours along with additional aesthetic features such as a facia to hide the head-box. Springwood can also be made in a larger width.
We don't recommend putting Basswood timber venetians in wet areas such as kitchens or bathrooms. Too much moisture on the wood can lead to the slats warping. Rather go for PVC or aluminium blinds to be safe.
These blinds are made of a durable, water and scratch resistant PVC composite material.
We recommend lightly cleaning your venetian blinds regularly. Rotate the slats of the blind into their closed positions and gently wipe them down with a microfibre cloth on either side. Vacuuming on a low setting with a soft brush-head will also do the trick.
Venetian blinds are one of the most versatile window furnishings available. Choose Springwood, Smart Privacy and Basswood for common areas around the home. Aluminiums, whilst not entirely waterproof are still great for kitchens and bathrooms.

All our curtains have a care instruction label sewn into the heading. This is usually found on the last pleat at one end of the curtain. This will tell you specifically what type of cleaning is suggested for the type of fabric you have. Never scrub the curtain as it may distort the surface or pattern, but rather dab it. When dry you may need to repeat with clean water to remove any soapy residue.

These fabrics are very versatile and will blockout most light. However it should be noted that this is more a room darkening material as opposed to full blockout.
Coated curtain fabrics have a layer of blockout material fused to the back of the material to provide full blockout through the material.
Uncoated means the fabric is a single layer and will not fully blockout light. However, we offer free blockout lining as an option for all our uncoated fabrics.
The room will be considerably dark. Blackout curtains are designed to blockout sunlight and keep your flooring, furniture and valuables safe from sun damage as well as provide privacy. There may, however, still be some light coming through.
